Rafiqul Islam, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, MIU, is set to pursue his PhD at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia.

He has been serving as an Assistant Professor since 2020, after joining the department as a Lecturer in July 2016. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Rajshahi in 2011, where he secured the first position and was awarded the prestigious A. F. Mujubur Rahman Gold Medal. In 2016, he completed his M.Sc. in Mathematics from Jahangirnagar University, again securing first position, with his thesis focusing on the study of heat and mass transfer in nanofluids. In addition, he holds a second Master’s degree in Engineering Mechanics from the Dalian University of Technology, China.
