On 2nd August 2025, the School of Science and Engineering at MIU proudly hosted the Opening Ceremony of the IEEE MIU Student Branch, uniting passionate students, dedicated faculty, and esteemed guests from the engineering community. The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Imamul Hassan Bhuiyan, Professor, Dept. of EEE, BUET & Chair, IEEE Bangladesh Section; Prof. Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Dean, SEST, MIU; and Prof. Md. Ershadul H. Chowdhury, Head, Dept. of EEE, MIU.
All the inspiring speeches highlighted visions of MARS Rover projects, international competitions, groundbreaking research, and impactful IEEE publications—motivating all to push boundaries in science, engineering, and technology. It was more than a ceremony; it marked the beginning of an exciting journey to empower students, foster innovation, and shape the engineers of tomorrow.
