Career Summary

Rafiqul Islam has been Assistant Professor in the department of EEE, MIU since 2020, after joining in July, 2016 as lecturer. He obtained his bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics in 2011 from University of Rajshahi where he secured first (1st) position and also awarded A. F Mujubur Rahman Gold Medal. He completed M.Sc. in Mathematics securing first position from University of Jahangirnagar in 2016. His master’s thesis was on the study of heat and mass transform of Nanofluid. Additionally, he has completed a second MS degree in Engineering Mechanics from the Dalian University of Technology, China. Here, his research was on “Inverse Identification of Homogeneous and Nonhomogeneous Thermal Conductivity of Heat Conduction Problems”. His research interest is on computational modelling, finite element method, and Inverse problem. He has published several research articles in these areas.
