Fun-filled BBQ Night 2025

Monday, 27 January 2025

A fun-filled BBQ Night 2025 was organized by the EEE Club on Saturday, 27th January 2025, at the Manarat International University Ashulia campus premises.

Usually, this event happens after final exams to help students relax after all the stress. A party like this brings back happiness. But this time, things were different—in a good way! Instead of having the BBQ after exams, it was planned on a regular day. This change made it easier for everyone to enjoy and prepare properly. Plus, there was more variety in food, making sure everyone got something they liked.

The day started as usual with classes, but once they were over, the real excitement began! Students quickly gathered all the ingredients and set up everything for the BBQ. Our hardworking boys took charge of marinating the chicken and potatoes, making sure they would be delicious. While the food was being cooked, the teachers took a break and played badminton. It was really fun to watch them enjoy themselves like young students again!

When the food was ready, everyone grabbed their plates with excitement. There was BBQ chicken, BBQ potatoes, shingara, piyaju, paratha, salad, and tasty sauces. To drink, we had Mojo, and for dessert, we had yogurt. Everything tasted amazing—Din Islam sir even sneaked a bite before the food was officially served!

But the most fun part started while the students were waiting for the bus. Students began cheering and shouting just for fun, and soon, the teachers joined in too! Ariful Islam, a student from the 24th batch, sang a song, and suddenly, everyone got into the mood. The students asked the teachers to show their talents as well. Assistant Professor Rafiqul Islam sir sang an Islamic song and recited a poem, which was really nice. But the real highlight was Md. Aminuzzaman sir’s song "Jan Pakhi"—it was so energetic that Md. Din Islam sir couldn’t help but show off his legendary dance moves!

Then, out of nowhere, Aminuzzaman sir reminded students that, as a religious person, he should probably give an Islamic speech. But instead of a serious speech, he made it funny, and everyone laughed so much! Students didn’t expect him to have such great humor, but he really does!

In the middle of all this fun, the students and faculty members missed K. M. Akhtheruzzaman sir, as he had to leave before the party started. But Tahrima Ashraf mam and the female students enjoyed every bit of it, making the evening even more special.

Finally, it was time to go home. The participants thought the fun was over, but the bus ride back was just as exciting! Students started singing every song they could remember, though many forgot the lyrics. But Emon Hossain didn’t miss a single word! Aminuzzaman sir joined in again, and to make the night even sweeter. Additionally, ice cream was served as treat to all! It felt like the fun would never end, but eventually, the bus reached at the destination, carrying memories that the participants will cherish forever.

This event was more than just a BBQ—it was a day full of laughter, friendship, and unforgettable moments. It brought students, teachers, and staff together like a big family. Students are truly grateful to everyone who made this amazing night happen!
